Camil Reyes was born in California and spend her childhood in Rio Piedra, Puerto Rico. From the day that she was born she was destined to be a dancer. As a young girl she was involved in entertainment; whether dancing or acting Camil had a passion for the stage. In 5th grade, Camil Reyes was a member of the Urbanizacion Country Club's Ballet Folklorico, specializing in the original folk dance of Bomba Y Plena from Puerto Rico. She performed with this dance ensemble for one year. In 1997, Camil Reyes took the stage as an actress and greeter for Disney and Universal Studios, she took on the stage with great presence and made great accomplishments for three years; although she made an impression on stage and became a favorite of the studio producers, in her heart and soul she yearned to be dancer.

In 2005, Camil Reyes attended her first dance class at Lorenz Dance Studio specializing in New York On2. This is where Camil learned her basics. In 2006, she became a prospect for the Mambo Bravo professional dance company. She worked religiously with an instructor by the name of "Victor". Working together with Victor and her dance partner, she became an integral part of the Mambo Bravo Dance Company. Unfortunately, before the routine was accomplished, Camil suffered a broken foot injury and was not able to continue her responsibilities with the team.

In 2007-2008, Camil Reyes accepted a position as Principal Dancer for "Siempre En El Ritmo Dance Company" directed by Frank "Ritmo" Garcia. It is here that Camil Reyes will make her mark as an acclaimed dancer. She will be an important part in taking this team to the highest levels. With that, she will live out her dream to be a top professional dancer in the Salsa/Mambo scene.
